Sounds like Sony is going to do what Microsoft has done for the 360. Does this mean the PS3 will have the same BC problems as the 360? and more patching via their 'live' system? More and more the PS3 sounds like an Xbox360.. Sony seems to be ripping more of their ideas from Microsoft.

The PS3 can't play about 200 odd games, and third party controls (Read Guitar Hero) won't work either.. Smooth move Sony.
