Sony PlayStation 3 Pricing for U.S.

Ready for the pain? The sticker shock? Here it is: $500 and $600 for the two Sony PS3 console price points we already knew about, $50 for a SIXAXIS wireless controller, $15 for the legacy PS/PS2 memory card adaptor, and $25 for the remote for the Blu-ray player.

As a bonus to the first 500,000 PS3 buyers, Sony is throwing in a Blu-ray copy of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, which won’t otherwise be available until December 12th. So if you’ve REALLY got to have Talladega Nights, you can take out a loan to buy the most expensive movie ever.
